PS Business Parks’ leasing team at Miami International Commerce Center (MICC), consisting of Senior Leasing Director Jorge Rivera, Leasing Director Jorge Suarez and Associate Leasing Director Juan Mazuera, closed 12 lease transactions in the month of January totaling 82,524 square feet.
Miami International Commerce Center’s overall leasing portfolio now stands at 99% occupancy, the highest leasing occupancy level at the park in recent years. The following are some of the deal highlights:
• Mayesh Wholesale Florist signed a 27,000-square-foot lease renewal on January 19th, keeping MICC Center 4, which totals 177,640 square feet, 100% occupied. Savills Studley represented the Tenant in the transaction. Headquartered in Los Angeles, Mayesh supplies a large variety of fresh floral products sourced from premier growers around the world. Mayesh Wholesale Florist is the preeminent wedding and event supplier in the United States, operating 18 branches in 9 states, including a domestic shipping department, and offers online shopping.
• A global transportation and logistics company signed a 21,600-square-foot industrial lease also on January 19th, bringing MICC Center 10, which totals 343,056 square feet, to 100% occupancy. NAI Miami – NAI Robert Lynn represented the Tenant in this transaction.
• FK Irons signed an 11,110-square-foot industrial lease on January 18th and brought MICC Center 12, which totals 75,250 SF, to 100% occupancy. FK Irons also signed a 3,044-square-foot lease renewal, keeping MICC Center 15, which totals 121,035 square feet, at 100% occupancy.
