Cushman & Wakefield announced it has arranged a 72,304-square-foot lease at Medley Industrial Center in Medley, bringing the multi-tenant industrial building to full occupancy.
The Cushman & Wakefield team of Gian Rodriguez, Managing Principal of Miami and Fort Lauderdale; Wayne Ramoski, Executive Managing Director; and Skylar Stein, Senior Associate represented the landlord, First Industrial Realty Trust, Inc., in the transaction. Joshua T. Reich of Real Property Management Miami represented the tenant, Component Overhaul Solutions Corp., which will utilize the space as a commercial/regional aircraft landing gear and accessory repair station.
“We’re excited to welcome Component Overhaul Services Corp. to Medley Industrial Center to accommodate their growth, while bringing our property back to 100% occupancy,” said Chris Willson, senior regional director and Florida market leader for First Industrial Realty Trust. “The Medley submarket is a growing part of First Industrial’s portfolio given its strategic infill location that is attractive to a range of businesses serving greater South Florida.”
“While it’s always gratifying to get a deal like this across the finish line, this one feels a bit sweeter, being that we had to pause midstride due to the lockdown,” Rodriguez added. “This tenant was looking to more than double its Florida footprint to better serve its growing client base, and we’re pleased to have met all of their unique requirements at Medley Industrial Center.”
Located at 6891 NW 74th Street, Medley Industrial Center is a 142,804-square-foot industrial facility featuring 24’ clear ceiling heights, 12 dock loading doors, one ramp, and five rail doors on a Florida East Coast Railway spur line. Strategically located in the heart of one of the most active industrial submarkets in Miami-Dade County, the building provides excellent access to primary labor markets, public transportation and major transportation arteries.
