An Austrian company that specializes in catering for airlines, sporting events, festivals and private parties has leased 209,600 square feet of warehouse space near Miami International Airport.
Vienna-based DO&CO will move into the circa-1969 space at 3401 N.W. 72nd Ave. on Jan.1, said Ricardo Du Pond, a tenant representative broker with Fortune International Realty.
Du Pond and Wolfgang Herz represented DO&CO in the lease negotiations. Doral-based State Street Realty represented landlord Prologis, a San Francisco-based company that invests in industrial properties.
Du Pond said the facility will be used as a distribution center, as well as an “enormous catering ghost kitchen.”
Founded in 1981, DO&CO serves more than 60 airlines worldwide, according to its website.
