The City of Doral has officially launched its 2026 Façade Improvement Program, offering financial incentives to help revitalize local commercial properties.
Announced through a city press release, the program provides up to a 50 percent reimbursement for exterior improvements, with a maximum award of $10,000 per project.
Eligible upgrades include exterior painting, modernized signage, improved lighting, and other enhancements designed to elevate a property’s appearance and street presence. Businesses and commercial property owners located within the Doral Décor District, as well as Homeowner Associations (HOAs), are eligible to apply.
Applications will be accepted from February 2 at 8:00 a.m. through March 2 at 3:30 p.m., giving applicants a limited window to secure funding. City officials emphasize that these aesthetic improvements do more than beautify buildings—they can increase visibility, attract foot traffic, and strengthen overall business activity throughout Doral.
The program is part of the broader Keep Doral Beautiful Initiative, which aims to create visually cohesive and inviting commercial corridors.
According to the City of Doral, “These exterior improvements don’t just look good—they can boost visibility, enhance the experience of visitors and tenants, and strengthen the character of Doral’s commercial corridors.”
City leaders also note that façade enhancements can have a ripple effect, encouraging further investment and community engagement. “A well-designed façade can change how a property feels, how people interact with it, and how a corridor evolves,” the city stated, highlighting the long-term economic and visual benefits of the initiative.
Additional details regarding eligibility requirements and the application process are available on the City of Doral’s website. Local businesses and property owners are encouraged to review the guidelines and apply to take advantage of this opportunity to enhance their storefronts while contributing to the city’s ongoing revitalization efforts.
