State Street Realty has leased 30,000 square feet of industrial space to LAX Floral Import at Beacon Centre Business Park, located within the Miami-Airport West submarket.
As a result, Beacon Centre Building 3, a 114,000 square foot building within a Class “A” industrial business park at 1617 NW 84 Avenue in Doral, is 100% occupied.
The vacancy rate for industrial space in the Miami Airport / Doral area is approximately 4%, according to State Street Realty.
State Street Realty President George Pino, SIOR represented the Landlord, Prologis, and State Street Realty Vice President Frank Trelles, SIOR represented the Tenant.
LAX Floral Import is a freight forwarding company specializing in the handling of fresh cut flowers and logistics services for the flower industry.
Trelles stated, “LAX Floral is one of the latest examples of a company growing their business in this strong economy by doubling the size of their warehouse facility. This is a great indicator of a healthy industrial market.”
