Stephen DiGiacomo, SIOR of DiGiacomo Group represented Medical Technologies Innovators in its search for a new and modern warehouse facility resulting in new lease at Flagler Station.
The medical and hospital equipment firm signed a 5-year lease for 21,586 square feet in Building 32 at Flagler Station II. The facility fronts NW 106 Street just off the Florida Turnpike.
The firm was previously located within Blue Lagoon Business Park at 6701 NW 7th Street in Miami.
“Finding the right facility in just the right location was very important and making a very significant reduction in the rent and operating expense was frosting on the cake,” commented DiGiacomo.
CIASF is a non-profit organization of business leaders involved in the development, design, construction, sales, and leasing of Industrial and Commercial Real Estate in South Florida. The association hosts events each month covering a wide range of topics including the Industrial Market Report in January and the Office Market Report in May, its signature events.
Flagler Station Building 32, which totals 269,918 square feet, along with Building 34, which totals 251,720 square feet, is nearing completion. The deal brings Building 32 to 80 percent pre-leased.
During the second quarter, Flagler Global Logistics will begin construction on Building 35 (104,246 square feet), Building 36 (129,600 square feet) and Building 38 (135,000 square feet). Building 36 is already 60 percent pre-leased.
