Pipeline Workspaces has chosen a building in Doral as its fifth shared workspace location. The company leased 13,000 square feet at Doral Concourse at 8400 Doral Blvd.
It plans to open there in the first quarter of 2016. It’s next to CityPlace Doral, a Related Group project that will include retail, restaurants and homes.
CBRE’s Shay Pope and Hunton & Williams attorney Uriel Mendieta represented Pipeline Workspaces in the deal and Cushman & Wakefield’s Gordon Messinger represented the landlord, DRA Advisors.
“Doral’s growth and international population makes it an ideal community to serve as a complement to our other South Florida locations and in line with our hub and spoke model,” said Todd Oretsky, a co-founder of Pipeline Workspaces. “Pipeline is creating an office and social network that will allow people to work near their house or in the most expensive business address for as little as $200 per month, giving them access to communities that they would never have been able to tap into before.”
Pipeline Workspaces leases space to entrepreneurs, start up companies, lawyers and international business executives. Doral is a hub for small businesses, especially related to international business. Prices in Doral will start at $600 per month.
The other Pipeline Workspaces locations are in Brickell, Coral Gables, Miami’s Little River and Philadelphia. The Coral Gables and Little River offices are still under construction.
“Pipeline is poised to grow very fast while maintaining the highest standards of quality for our members,” Pipeline Workspaces co-founder Philippe Houdard said. “We have assembled a “best in breed” vertically integrated team that handles every step, including site selection, architecture and design, construction, finance and daily operations.”
