PS Business Parks’ leasing team at Miami International Commerce Center, a 3,500,000-square-foot business park located within the Miami-Airport West submarket in Doral, closed 38 leasing transactions for a total of 308,025 SF in Q4 of 2016, according to a release. Miami International Commerce Center closed the year with a leasing occupancy of 98% for its entire portfolio.
The following are some of the deal highlights:
Sr. Leasing Director Jorge Rivera represented the Landlord in signing a building materials company to a 44,160 SF industrial lease. The deal closed on December 16th and brought Center 6, which totals 228,060 SF, to 100% occupancy.
Sr. Leasing Director Jorge Rivera represented the Landlord in signing a distributor of perishables to a 25,000 SF industrial lease. Ramon Perez, Juan Matias Cortes and Alexander Lozev from Kaizen Realty Partners represented the Tenant. The deal closed on December 23rd and brought Center 1, which totals 238,800 SF, to 100% occupancy.
Leasing Director Jorge Suarez represented the Landlord in signing three new leases in Center 15, totaling 12,103 SF in industrial leases. Two deals closed on December 2nd while the third closed on December 16th and brought Center 15, which totals 121,035 SF, to 100% occupancy.
Associate Leasing Director Juan Mazuera represented the Landlord in signing two lease renewals in Center 9, totaling 15,600 SF in industrial leases. Both deals closed on December 9th and brought Center 9, which totals 271,510 SF, to 97.3% occupancy.
