Lennar Homes launched sales on its 890-home Park Central community in Doral.
The project is located along Northwest 88th Street, east of Northwest 107th Avenue. Miami-based Lennar acquired the 153-acre site in 2012 after the developer of what was previously called Grand Bay at Doral lost the land to debtors.
Lennar now plans to build 585 condos, 228 townhouses and 77 single-family estate homes. Prices range from $299,990 for a 1,075-square-foot condo to $609,990 for a 2,988-square-foot single-family home.
“Park Central’s sophisticated home designs is truly unique to Doral,” said Carlos Gonzalez, president of Lennar’s Southeast Florida division. “We are always listening to our customers’ feedback and we know that they will feel right at home in Park Central, especially with the picturesque clubhouse, currently under construction, this club will become the epicenter for relaxation, entertainment and cherished family memories in Doral.”

Amenities at Park Central will include a 28,000-square-foot clubhouse, a pool, a basketball court, a lake, a park, a playground, a soccer field, a splash park and a tennis court. The sales center is at 10651 N.W. 88th Street.
Lennar is also building homes in the Downtown Doral South mixed-use project further east in the city. The company is ranked the largest developer of single-family homes in South Florida.
