East Capital Partners has broken ground on a spec warehouse in Hialeah amid a surge in industrial development in northern Miami-Dade County.
The Darien, Connecticut-based developer, through affiliate WGC 97th Property LLC, is building a 170,000-square-foot warehouse on the 9.4-acre site at 16300 N.W. 97th Ave.
“The building will have 36-foot clear height and include 7,500 square feet of office space. It’s designed for one or two big tenants,” said Drew T. DeWitt, co-founder of East Capital Partners.
The developer hired Devin White from CBRE to lease the building. It should be completed in April 2025.
