A food manufacturer and distributor operating near Miami International Airport is facing a foreclosure lawsuit involving its warehouse and other business assets.
FirstBank Puerto Rico filed the complaint against A&M Global Solutions, a Miami-based company associated with Food Group International and the Avelina food brand. The company produces and distributes oatmeal, granola and other oat-based products for retail and private-label customers.
According to the lawsuit, A&M Global Solutions defaulted on four loans issued in 2024 with a combined original balance of approximately $15.03 million. The bank is seeking nearly $14.9 million through the foreclosure action.
The collateral includes a 47,668-square-foot warehouse at 7300 NW 35th Terrace, located just north of Miami International Airport. Property records connect the industrial facility to Eleo Group, an entity affiliated with the food company.
Beyond foreclosing on the warehouse, FirstBank is reportedly pursuing other assets pledged as security for the financing. That makes the case particularly significant because its potential effects could extend to the company’s ongoing operations, equipment and inventory—not merely ownership of the real estate.
A&M Global Solutions has maintained an active presence in the international food trade. Import records show the company receiving products and materials from overseas suppliers, while its location provides convenient access to MIA, PortMiami and several major transportation corridors.
The filing underscores the strategic value of industrial buildings surrounding Miami International Airport. Warehouses in this infill area are difficult to replace because of limited available land, proximity to international trade infrastructure and strong demand from importers, distributors and logistics businesses.
The complaint represents allegations made by the lender, and the court has not yet issued a final judgment determining ownership of the property.
